Wesley worked for over twenty years in the outdoor advertising field as a crew chief constructing and maintaining thousands of Texas billboards.  Wesley considered himself retired after his injury in 2018.  His interest included hunting, fishing, horseback riding, cooking on the grill, Tai Chi, playing horseshoes, freestyle rap, and listening to music.

He is survived by his wife Mary Janiece Morris, his son Nolan Roden, her daughter Brittany Lewis, his grandmother Naomi Fowler, his mom Norma Carter, his brother Bryan Roden, his uncle Eddie Fowler and aunt Charlotte Fowler and their children Kayla and Hailey, Uncle William Fowler and Aunt Patricia Fowler and their children Deshawn, Brittany and DeTessa, his cousin Crystal Fowler and her child, his cousin Eddie Ray Fowler, JR, and several other cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Eddie Lee Fowler.

Remember, during this difficult time as Wesley would say, "I have seen worse, and still went to work." Wesley’s quick wit and gentle spirit will be missed.
