Tony Torres Gomez Patricia Ann Gomez Obituary

Tony Torres Gomez was born in Sweetwater, TX on April 16th, 1950, to Francisco and Dolores Gomez.

Patricia (“Trish”) Ann Gomez was born in Odessa, Texas on April 4th, 1953, to James and Marie McMath.

Tony and Patricia Gomez were married on May 27th, 1995, in Arlington, Texas. They most recently lived in Kennedale, TX where they were received into the presence and peace of God on April 27th, 2022.

Tony and Trisha worked together at Falkenberg construction for 22 years. Tony as the President and Trisha as the Office Manager until their recent retirement in October of 2021. Together they helped build a thriving business with employees they loved liked family. Tony mentored so many during his career and Trish always found a way to make everyone at Falkenberg feel special.

Though Tony and Trish were deeply invested in the impact they had on their business, anyone who knew them would tell you what they cared most about was their family. Their most enjoyable moments were spent at the table over a meal sharing stories together

Tony loved grilling and sitting outside in good company smoking cigars. He had a calm but strong demeanor that made others feel comforted and safe. He always sought to consider others better than himself. He enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, wood working, solving crossword puzzles, and making a project out of absolutely anything.

Trisha loved to enjoy good company and chat over a glass of wine. She had kind, bright eyes, and a laugh and a smile that made everyone else smile. She treated others with immense kindness and care. She enjoyed doing yard work with Tony, shopping, keeping her home in order, and getting her hair and nails done.

Together, Tony and Trish were a ton of fun. Anyone who met them felt like family. They loved to share a meal with family and friends, go to Winstar, watch TV shows together, and do never ending backyard projects. You could often find them sitting outside on the patio enjoying each other’s company alongside their dog, Theo. Trisha and Tony adored their dog Theo.

They were always a strong presence in the room together to make people feel seen and loved. They both loved to sit around the table together with family and friends to share stories and laugh. Tony would take the even keel road with a healthy bit of joking while Trisha would bring the joy of laughter to the room. Whether family, friends, people who worked with them through projects or services, everyone walked away from a conversation with them feeling heard and encouraged. They were often the people others would turn to to share their burdens.

Though Tony and Trisha endured many trials in their lifetimes, they enjoyed much life. God used their trials to strengthen their faith and they remembered and enjoyed the faithfulness of God as they took comfort and confidence in Him.
