Sandra Smith Obituary

Sandra Kay Smith, who was born Jan. 1, 1952, in Clarksville, Texas, to Marvin Noe and Marie Pittman Noe, passed away at 1:55 p.m. June 9, 2021, in Fort Worth with many of her loved ones present.

Sandra was one of 12 brothers and sisters that she helped take care of. She worked hard her whole life from restaurants to the medical field as a Certified Nurse Assistant.

In 1987, she decided to go to truck driving school. She drove a truck for many years until she could no longer work.

She married Timothy Smith on June 8, 2002, in Cleburne. Even though they only had 19 years of marriage, they made the best of the time they had. If you ask anyone, they had a marriage most people only wished they had. Her husband recently retired, and they were enjoying traveling in a new RV they had just bought.

Sandra had many health issues prior to her death, but her husband Tim was determined to make her days the best they could be and something they would always remember.

Sandra would help anyone any way she could and did so without expecting anything in return, just to make sure someone else was OK, especially her family. She always said, “If I have a piece of floor, I will offer it.” If she had it, you can bet she would share it. If you needed it, she would her best to make it happen. She was the most selfless person you would ever meet.

Sandra is survived by her husband Timothy Smith; her two daughters, Pamela Barber and Melissa Dyke, both of Cleburne; her two stepsons, Timothy David Smith and Richard Lynn Sanderlin; sons-in-law, David Barber and David Roachelle; six grandchildren, Cody, Autum, Alyssa, Caleb, Peyton and Daniel; and six great-grandchildren, Emmaline, Bentley, Elijah, Dallas, Marilyn and Ivy; along with several other family members not listed but just as loved.

Sandra will be forever loved and missed by so many. She touched so manly lives with her beautiful soul.

Sandra, you don’t have to “Only Imagine” anymore because of His “Amazing Grace,” so “Go Rest High on That Mountain.”

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, with service at 10 a.m., both at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, 3407 Wilshire Blvd., Joshua, Texas.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
