Robby Lynn Waits

Robby Lynn Waits, 34, of China Spring, TX, passed away on May 15th, 2020 in San Joaquin, CA.

Robby was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and raised in Grandview. Upon graduation from John Jay High School in San Antonio in 2004, he immediately enlisted in the US Army and selflessly served two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom, as a member of the military police.

Robby was Honorably discharged from the US Army after faithful service in Iraq. His personal awards include the Army Commendation Medal and Army Good Conduct Medal. His numerous campaign awards include the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal with Campaign Star (3rd Award), and the Army Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award). After his discharge from the Army, he worked in a family business as a long distance truck driver.

Robby was a loving husband and father to his wife Jessica and their four children, Grace, Ella, Garrett, and Evelyn. He is survived by his wife and children, mother and stepfather, Theresa and Michael Miller of Grandview, TX, his father and stepmother, Rucker and Genoveva Waits of Merced, CA, siblings Eric (Mandi) Miller and Kristifer Miller and grandparents John and Linda Shields.

He will be sorely missed by numerous family, friends, and brothers and sisters in arms.
