Richard Clayton Johnson

Richard Clayton Johnson, 81 of Joshua, Texas passed away November 16, 2021. Richard was born in Hamilton, TX on May 23, 1940.  He was a member of the Carpenters Union for 45 years. He joined the apprenticeship program at age 17 and received an award for outstanding apprenticeship in 1962.  He and his father Raymond have over 100 years combined as members of the Carpenters Union.  He is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Johnson in 2008, his daughter Michelle in 1962 and his parents Raymond and Winona Johnson in 2001 and 2017 respectively.  He is survived by his children Lianna Brawley, Son-in-law Ronnie Griffin and his son Keith Johnson. His grandchildren Jason and Amber Miller, Robyn and Kassey Pursell, Angela and David Smith, Bradley Brawley, Allison and Mark Sangenito and Shane and Alicia Griffin. His brother Virgil Johnson and Sister-in-law Carol Johnson.  As well as his 20 great grandchildren.
