Marvin Glenn Iles, Jr. was born February 26, 1960, in Granbury, Texas to Marvin Glenn,Sr. and Catherine Earline Iles. His childhood was spent in Granbury, Burleson and Joshua. He joined the Army in 1978 and served our country for 3 years.
He worked as a truckdriver until attending TCJC to earn a Criminal Justice degree. He served in the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office for a total of 13 years, Joshua Police Department for 2 years and Nabors Wells Service.
Through his varied careers and jobs his compassion for people was evident to all who knew him. The last couple of years were no different, even as his health failed, he loved Big!
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Glenn Iles, a sister, Deana Kathlene Iles and a nephew, Benjamin Curtis Iles.
He is survived by his mother Catherine Earline Iles, Daughter Kristina Renee’ McCleskey, Sister Rebecca Lynn Fleming and husband Earl Wayne Fleming, Brother Larry Dale Iles and wife Patricia Sue Iles. Three Grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
