Martha Nell Buchanan

Martha “Nell” Orr Buchanan, 87, passed away on November 4,2020. She was born February 11, 1933.

She was a longtime member of the Burleson Church of Christ. Nell was a retired registered nurse who spent her life taking care of others.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Donald Orr. After his passing she married Jim Abston. Her last marriage was to James Buchanan, with whom she got to fulfill her dreams of seeing the world.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

She leaves behind her children: Kenneth Orr and wife, Sarah; Kay Colley and husband, Bryant; Kevin Orr and wife Susan.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Arica Lee, Brandon Colley, Justin Colley, Joshua Orr, Val Orr, Katie Orr, and Jacob Orr, as well as 8 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two nieces and nephews which were loved like her own children. “Her children rise up and call her blessed.” Proverbs 31:28
