Lupe Ward was born in Cleburne on December 5, 1952. She graduated from Joshua High School and lived in Joshua throughout her life. She worked at Mrs. Baird’s Bakery for 26 years and next month would have been her 20th year anniversary at Home Depot.
Lupe was definitely one of a kind. She touched the lives of so many and she was one of the most dedicated and hard-working people you knew. She was an amazing mother, loved to cook and bake, spend time with her grandkids and grand pups and loved her some Direct TV. She told it like it was, but her heart of gold and faith in the Lord was always felt.
Survivors: Daughters, Brandy Horton and husband Leslie Horton, Jennifer Ward and husband Jake Gallaher. Sisters, Cecilia Gable and Sylvia McDaniel. Brothers, Robert, Tommy, Luis, and JP Montanez. Granddaughters, Zoey and Briley Singleton, and the Home Depot Family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Concha Montanez, her father, Benjamin Montanez, and her brothers Ben and Paul Montanez.
