Juanita Marie Bomgardner

Juanita “Marie” Bomgardner was born in Chickasha, OK on August 4, 1944 and passed away in Burleson, Texas holding her husband’s hand on October 13, 2021.   She was a 1963 graduate of Minco High School and completed cosmetology school at Stillwater, Okl.  Marie married Terry Bomgardner on August 23, 1963 and created a beautiful life to raise their children.  She retired as registrar in 2008 from Burleson High School.  Her interests included cooking, baking, playing games, puzzles, spending time with her family and friends, and going to church.   Marie had a servants heart and enjoyed catering to her family and friends.  She always loved family get togethers and holidays with them.  Marie was a member of Promise Point Church in Granbury, Burleson Lions Club, and a lifetime member of the Chisholm Trail 100 Club, an organization that supports first responders

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Terry Bomgardner, brother Steve Morris, her sister Gloria Verser, her son Dale Bomgardner and wife Kim, daughter Angie Bomgardner, son Tim Bomgardner and wife Suzy.  She had 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her mother and father Verla Jean Morris and Leonard Sylvester Morris, and her sisters Wanda Quinn and Ima Jo Bartlett.

She was loved and cherished and will be missed by many and will forever live on in our hearts.
