Denny Taylor Obituary

It is with an indescribable peace that we announce that Crist Taylor has finished the race of life here on earth well to be face to face with our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He passed peacefully the morning of December 6, 2020 in Burleson surrounded by Heavens Army going to battle for him. Crist was born on December 16, 1972 in Muleshoe Texas to Denny and Judy Taylor. He was welcomed by big brother Kevin and later blessed by little sister Lachelle.

The Taylor family were residents of Decatur for most of their childhood. Crist would spend the remainder of his life living in the Fort Worth/ Burleson area and his career of driving some of our nations largest heavy haul equipment and drilling oil rigs took him all over our nation to experience life in a radical way. Crist was a hard working, family loving, God fearing, God loving man of honor and a true Patriot. He loved the outdoors, boats, big trucks, the Dallas Cowboys and President Trump. He always spoke of his dream to own a 5th wheel and take his family on weekend camping trips, fishing and strumming the guitar by the campfire. He was a genuine hard worker, not only with his hands but also his heart, he ministered to every person he met. He was an athlete in school, a Soldier in the US Army, he was dedicated to his work, his family and to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved big and was extremely passionate in seeing everyone around him experience the love of God.

He was a long time faithful member of Open Door Church in Burleson. He served the Lord in a huge capacity, walking the Cross with Michael Smith his best friend, his brother, his ministry partner with Cross Made Me Ministry. He served on the Compassion Team, the Parking Lot Crew, the Alter Team, the Counseling Ministry and the Open Door Food Bank. He also spent many Christmas Days with Open Door feeding and loving on the homeless. He was a Quester. Crist truly experienced life in a crazy cool way. He loved the Lord our God with all of his heart. His passions were going after God in everything, wood working and his family. He loved to worship. He is preceded in death by his son Avery and his dad Denny. Crist is survived by his bride of 3 years Becky, their 5 children Bailey, Matthew, Lily, Emily and Addy along with Baileys husband Demontra. Crist has 2 grandchildren, Ashtyn and Zylah Brown. He is also survived by his mom Judy, brother Kevin and sister Lachelle as well as many extended family of loving in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was immensely blessed to have an army of brothers and sisters in Christ that will be forever with him in eternity. Crist will be deeply missed but can rest in knowing Gods promise that his end is peace....
