Carol Embry Obituary

Carol Lynne (Bullard) Embry was born in Seattle, Washington on April 5, 1944, to Harry F. and Ruth L. Bullard. She passed from this life on March 12, 2024, and was transported to heaven to spend the rest of eternity with her Lord and her many friends and family.
Carol grew up in Dallas, Texas, with her mother and sister, Sandy. She worked for her father in his floral shop until she was married to Robert C. Embry. After her marriage, she resided in Houston, Texas, and worked for Houston Light and Power. After six years, she moved back to Dallas, where she resided for four years, and then to her home in Burleson, Texas where she would spend the remainder of her life. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Dwain McDonald for 20+ years until his retirement. She was a friend to him and all of his patients.
After moving to Burleson, she joined the First Methodist Church in Joshua and remained a member until her death. While in the church, she worked for Lord's Acres pantry every year and was in charge of organizing dinners for the people who had lost a loved one. Her talents will be missed, but there are those who will fill her shoes.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Harry F. Bullard and Ruth L. Bullard, her sister Sandra J. Lee, and a nephew Shay Ryan Lee.
She is survived by her husband Robert C. Embry, her daughter Jennifer Lynne Higgins and husband Kevin, her daughter Cheryl Renee Butler and her husband Aaron, and her daughter Keri Dawn Gregory and her husband Phillip. She is survived by seven grandchildren and a grandson-in-law and a granddaughter-in-law.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
