Anita Barker Obituary

Anita Ann Barker was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 10, 1943 to Dewey and Melba Clements. She passed peacefully in her sleep early Saturday morning December 4, 2021.

She was full of life, a wonderful wife and loving mother. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and living life to the fullest.

Anita was preceded in death by parents Dewey and Melba Clements, husband George Barker Sr., sister Duejean Garrett, son William Barker and grandson Brandon Barker.

She is survived by daughter Diedree Johnson and husband Jimmy Johnson and son George Barker Jr. Grandchildren Jessica Lawrence, Andrew Lawrence and wife Ashley and Brandy Barker. Great grandchildren Sadie, William, Jackson and Emma.

The impact Anita left on those she loved will be as great as the hole she leaves.
