Wayne Davis

Wayne Laverne Davis, 93, of Joshua, TX passed away November 10, 2025. He was born September 18, 1932 in Grandview to Fred and Gertrude Davis.

Wayne retired from the Union Pacific Railroad and loved to spend time in the garden or in his shop fixing things.

He was survived by his sons Terry of Red Oak and Brian of Joshua; grandchildren: Lauren, Mathew, Joshua, Shelbie, Blake, and Ethan; one great granddaughter Riverlyn; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was proceeded in death by his father Fred, mother Gertrude, wife Bobbie Ann Bryant Davis; his daughter in-law Alesa Davis, Brothers Joe, Charlie, James, Dee; and his sisters Darlene, Linda, Angie, and Pam.

He will be missed by many and his memory will live on forever in our hearts. His soul is now with his beloved wife and family that have been waiting to welcome him home.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 14, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Caddo Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.
