Timothy Earl Tatum

Timothy Earl Tatum, 68, of Cleburne, TX passed away on January 25, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 06, 1957 in Big Springs, TX to his dedicated parents John and Louise Tatum. In addition to over three decades of experience in the apartment industry, Timothy established himself as a prominent multi-family general contractor through his ownership of Texas Star Contractors. An avid outdoorsman with a talent for mechanics, Timothy found joy in hunting and vehicle restoration and possessed the ability to fix anything he touched. When he was not at the family home in Bronte, he could always be found in his barn building or fixing something.

Timothy was a devoted husband, father, "Pa" and friend. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and has been known to do so. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Tatum, children, Jesse and Denise Tatum, Jacob and Rachel Tatum, McKenna and Trent Holliday, Balis and Valeria Tatum, Baron Tatum, and 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, John Tatum, and brother, Bobby Tatum.

Timothy's favorite Scripture was Isaiah 6:8, "I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me." While we miss Timothy deeply, we find peace in the certainty that he is at home with the Lord and that a joyful reunion awaits us.

The viewing for Timothy will be held at the Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, TX on February 02, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, February 03, 2026 at 10:30 am. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Timothy to attend these events and participate in celebrating Timothy's life and legacy.
