Shirley Ann Beck, 92, of Joshua passed away July 13, 2026. She was born Jan. 16, 1934 in Ridley Park, Delaware to Charles Lamont and Lydia Mae Nichols.
Shirley loves nursing, opera and cats. She was very intelligent and proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, at DFW National Cemetery.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Peggy Ann Thomas and husband, Michael, of Joshua; one son; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Beck.
