Sam Romo, 81 of Joshua, passed away Friday December 15, 2017. Funeral Service: 10AM Tuesday, December 19, 2017, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8PM Monday, at the funeral home. Burial: 2:15PM Tuesday, Lane 2-DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, 75211. Sam was born November 8, 1936 in Sweetwater to Ellis Gilbert and Opal (Glasgow) Romo. Survivors: wife, Celia Romo; sons, Jonathan Romo and wife Tracy, Anthony Romo and wife Trisha; daughter, Yolanda Brower and husband David; step daghters, Gilda Martinez and husband Roland, Graciela Sernaque and husband Pablo, Gladys Garcia and husband Diomines; step sons, Cesar Garza and wife Kerrie, Estevan Garza and wife Mercy, and Pedro Garza; 23 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby, Mary, Helen, Omagene; brothers, Gilbert, and George; and many other loving friends.
