Sally D. Wade, 87, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Joe Mashburn officiating. Interment: Tye Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Sally was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Burleson to William W. and Stella Lay Eakin. Survivors: Daughters, Lois Pittman and husband, Hal, Sherri Mashburn and husband, Joe; grandson, Jackson Pittman; brother, Pete Eakin and wife, Bernice; sister, Sue Pugh; and other loving family and friends.
