JOSHUA -- Ruby Johnson, 66, of Joshua, a tax preparer for H&R Block, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at her residence. Funeral: 7 p.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation to follow until 10 p.m. Ruby Leola Johnson was born June 2, 1941, in Winnsboro to Alfred and Wilma Moore Spigener. She married Richard Clayton Johnson on Jan. 19, 1959, in Fort Worth. Ruby enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and loved being with her family. She was a Baptist. Survivors: Husband, Richard Johnson of Joshua; son, Keith Johnson of Joshua; daughter, Lianna Brawley and Ronnie Griffin of Arlington; brothers, Jerry Boren of East Texas, Doyle Spigener of Belton, Jeff Spigener; sister, Norma Thomas of Amarillo; mother-in-law, Winona Johnson of Joshua; grandchildren, Jason and Amber Miller, Robyn and Billy Elliott, Angela Nickels and David Smith, Bradley Brawley; great-grandchildren, Addyson and Ava Miller, Tristan Elliott; and nephews, Dana and Derek Spigener, Michael and Jeremy Johnson.
