Ross Theodore Dozier

Ross Theodore Dozier was born in Madera California on January 29, 1938 to Edgar and Bertha (Bragg) Dozier. He passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Friday January 30, 2026.

Ross grew up with his older siblings Bill and Maxine, in Riverside California. He graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School in 1955. He was at a friends birthday party when he met and immediately fell in love with Ellen Thorogood. They married on November 9, 1957.

He served in the Navy from July 1955 to July 1963. He attended Foothill College in Los Altos, California. He worked most of his life as a computer programmer. He loved working with horses. In their later years he and Ellen loved to go on cruises.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen.

He is survived by his four children.

Les Dozier and wife Kathy and their children Stephanie and Stacey.

Vicki Brush and her children Joshua and Jennifer.

Paul Dozier and wife Kathy and their daughter Kalyn.

Trisha Thornwell and her children Justin, Cheyanne and Jamie.

Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
