Ronny Jerome Reeder

Ronny Reeder, 79, of Burleson, Texas, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Ronny shared 53 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Gay Reeder.

He is survived by his wife, Gay Reeder of Burleson; his son, Clay Reeder of Burleson; his daughter, Kristy Philips and her husband, Alex Philips, of Burleson; and his cherished granddaughter, Madison Philips of Burleson, Texas. He was a proud and loving Grandpa, and nothing brought him more joy than time spent with his family.

Ronny honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and remained a proud Marine for the rest of his life. You could almost always find him wearing a Marine shirt or hat, a quiet but constant reminder of the service he carried with honor.

A hardworking and dependable man, Ronny enjoyed all kinds of gardening, yard work, and helping others fix things. He found purpose in staying busy and in lending a hand wherever it was needed. He served his family and friends extremely well, always putting others before himself.

Ronny will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his strength, faithfulness, and the steady presence he gave to those he loved.
