Robert Julian Jones

On Tuesday, January 21, 2020 Robert Julian Jones, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away at the age of 87.  Robert was born on August 27, 1932, in San Saba, Texas.  On September 9, 1961 he married Patty Fehse and on July 16, 1971 he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses along with Patty. In 1993 he retired from General Motors after thirty years of service.  After retirement he became a volunteer at the Denton Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Denton, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Phillip and Robert, daughter Kathleen, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  A memorial will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.
