Ray Brent Hewett, 58, of Burleson, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016. He was born Nov. 6, 1957, in Cleburne, Texas to Claude and Bonnie Jo (Chaney) Hewett. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Ray loved his daughter and spending time with her. He was very simple and easy going and loved being on the water. He is survived by his daughter, Tamara Hewett of Panama City Beach, Florida; brothers, Randy Hewett of Burleson and Rory Hewett of Phoenix, Arizona; nieces, Emily Pedigo, Cori Hewett and Kylie Hewett; uncle, E.L. Hewett of Joshua; and cousins, extended family and friends.
