Polly Mitchell

Polly (Tuggle) Mitchell, 83, of Joshua, passed away Friday June 19, 2015. Service: 10AM Thursday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: 2PM Thursday, Pilot Point Cemetery, Pilot Point. Visitation: 6-8PM Wednesday, at the funeral home. Polly was born January 19, 1932, in Cook County to Samuel and Mary (Cole) Tuggle. Polly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was an adventurer at heart, and could do most anything. She worked tirelessly alongside her husband for many years. Polly will be greatly missed by her family and friends, who loved her and held her in high esteem. Our sincere appreciation goes to Bob Drapiza and the staff of Community Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband, John. Survivors: daughter, Rev. Sandra Lowry, and husband, Rev. Ken of Lago Vista; son, Wylie Mitchell of Cleburne; grandchildren, Karen Cirotto, Tammy Sheridan, Shannon and Janna Lowry; great-grandchildren, Christina Boudreaux, Justin, Joshua, and Kaylee Cirotto; great-great-grandchild, Brynlee Boudreaux; sister, Billie Giles; brother-in-law, Windell Mitchell; sister-in-Law, Wanda Gilley; and a host of loving friends.
