Patricia Ann McClure
Patricia Ann Penney Hodge McClure passed away into the loving arms of her Lord Savior in the early morning hours on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026.
Patricia was born to Robert O. Penney and Beatrice Gordon Penney on August 03, 1934, in Whitney, Texas, Hill County. She graduated from High School at the age of 16 years old, in 1951. She met and married Floyd Hodge in October 1951. They had one daughter Debra Sue Hodge in December 1952. Floyd was killed in a car accident a few years later. She later went on to marry Daniel Carlton McClure Sr. at the Church of Christ of Cleburne in 1957, and they had one son Daniel Carlton McClure Jr. They lived in Hill County (Whitney & Hubbard) and later moved to Burleson, Texas. She was a member of the Baptist Church from the age of 12 until Present where is a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church since 1990. She retired from Texas Health Resources in July of 2000 where she was a Staff Accountant over payroll and taxes. After retiring she loved to cook, bake, travel, and sew quilts. She loved her children, and including her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren who called her Nana with all of her heart.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husbands Floyd Hodge and Daniel McClure Sr., her parents Robert and Beatrice Penney, her brothers Orlis W. Penney and wife Betty, Bobby N. Penney and wife Barbara, Stepbrothers Jimmy and Bobby Troutman, Sister Sherry McGarth, and her Great, Great-Granddaughter Eleanor Morgan Click.
She is survived by brother Monty Penney and wife Joy of Cleburne, Tx; sister Becky Hunter; daughter Debra Sue (Hodge)Click of Burleson Tx; son Daniel Carlton McClure Jr. and wife Robin of Cleburne Tx; grandchildren Holly Danielle (Click) Carnes and husband Casey (Bubba); Jeremy Paul Click and wife Jaymi; James Daniel McClure and wife Meryl; Bailey Cheyenne (McClure) Houston and husband Jake; Great-Grandchildren Kelin and wife Krysta; Kassadee and husband Jacob; Jayden; Tatum; Charlotte; Caroline; Conner, Rip, Beau;10 great, great-children, many nieces and nephews and friends.
Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering faith, love for her family and friends, and her generous spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.
