Misty Slatton Smith, 34, of Burleson, passed away Sat. March 31, 2012 in Burleson. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Misty was born December 29, 1977 in Lewisville to Larry and Phyllis Allen Slatton. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister who had a smile that lit up the room and never met a stranger. Survivors: Her parents; Ex-Husband and best friend, Chris Smith of Burleson; son, Korbin Smith; Daughter, Khloe Gonzalez both of Burleson; sister, Shelley Sims and husband Mark of Maypearl; brother, Jeremy Slatton of Burleson; grandmother, Laverne Slatton of Wichita Falls; nephews, Kenneth and Colton Sims; niece, Alexie Slatton; other extended family and friends.
