Michal "Mike" Finstad 55 of Alvarado, a self employed paint and body worker died Wed. July 22, 2009 in Cleburne. Graveside Service: 4 p.m. Thursday at Hopewell Cemetery in Joshua. Michal Wells Finstad was born January 20, 1954 in Cleburne to Marc Wells and Sonnya Evan Nutt Finstad. He married Debra Pearl King on March 30, 1974 in Cleburne. He liked restoring old cars and riding motorcycles. Survivors: Wife, Debra Finstad of Alvarado; daughter, Vanessa Finstad of Cleburne; godchildren, Blazer Norrid, Raelyn Norrid, Dalton Holt, Alexis Holt; mother, Sonnya Finstad of Fort Worth; brothers, Scott Finstad and wife Robin of Azle, Roger Finstad and wife Tina of Fort Worth, Robin Finstad of Fort Worth; sister, Dawn Peterson and husband Steve of Lakeland, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
