Mary Isabell Dawson

Mary I (Hunt) Dawson, 83, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017. Funeral Service: 10AM Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment: Rio Vista Cemetery. Mary was born August 12, 1933 in Maysville, OK to Oscar and Sylvia Hunt. She worked for several years in a sewing room at Textile Ind. and Rangeair. Later in life she went to school to become a Medical Assistant before retiring. She married Armax Dawson on August 20, 1950. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, William and James Hunt. Survivors: daughter, Faye (Dawson) Trojacek and husband, Randy of Joshua; sons, Donnie Dawson and wife, Lana of Cleburne, and Ray Dawson and wife Angie of Grandview; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you to Grandview Nursing Home staff for taking such good care of our mother. We would also like the thank Mission Hospice for your care as well.
