Linda Lou Lee Lackey, 86, passed into glory surrounded by her loved ones on May 7, 2026, in New Braunfels, Texas.

Linda was born on June 24, 1939, in Randolph, Texas, to James Madison Lee and Cletha Mae Baker Lee. She was the oldest of six children and was blessed with a life filled with family, love, and memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, George "The Lizard" Lackey; her cherished son, Howard; two sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Lackey Kilgore; her brother, Jimmy Lee; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Linda's greatest legacy is the faith and love she poured into her family. Through her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, her love and spirit will continue to live on for generations to come.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
