Leila Faye Miller
July 20, 1952 - November 13, 2025
With gentle hands and a spirit steady as a lighthouse beam, Leila Faye Miller stepped into eternity last week, leaving a legacy of love that will continue to glow in all who knew her.
Born on July 20, 1952, Leila was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert Dennie and Allie Faye Dennie; her brother, William Gerald Lee Dennie; and her beloved husband, Charles Alvin Miller. She is survived by her brother Robert Leslie Dennie.
Though Leila never had children of her own, she mothered the world around her. Any child in need found a safe place in her presence-comfort, direction, or just the warmth of being truly seen. She carried that same heart into every place she worked: First Baptist Daycare in Burleson, Burleson Monument, Joshua Pharmacy, and Brentwood Apartments in Burleson. Wherever she went, she left things better, brighter, and softened by her grace.
Leila was a woman whose faith guided her footsteps, whose compassion shaped her days, and whose laughter could make a hard moment feel lighter. Those who loved her will remember her as someone who saved the smallest joys for others, someone who lived simply but loved abundantly, someone who could steady you without saying a word-just being there was enough.
And as her family and friends gather to honor her life, they carry forward the glow she gave so freely.
She lived a Christian life and never failed to lend a helping hand to those that knew her. She was kind. She was generous. She was a light in the darkness. She was dearly loved. She will be greatly missed.
