Leasel Ray Green was born on October 6, 1930, to Chester and Margie Green. He passed away on May 6, 2025. He was called to his heavenly home surrounded by his son Randy and wife Linda and a good friend.
Leasel grew up in Odell, Tx. with his parents Chester and Margie Green and 4 siblings brother Llyod & Darwin and sisters Oleta, and Patsy.
He loved riding his Harley Davidson and flying his private airplane.
In 1952, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served the Korean War, where his job was a M. P. and he was very proud of his job. After getting out in 1954, he met his precious wife June Lewis Green they move to Ft. Worth and raised their two sons Tim and Randy Green. He was a man of many talents, he worked for General Motors for 12 years, leaving there to become a full time Evangelist Minister and travel to many places and countries. A year later he and June founded New Life Christian Fellowship of Burleson until 2022. He was also the owner of Big B Tile Company for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margie and Chester, brothers Llyod and Darwin & sister Oleta. His son Tim Green and wife June Green.
He is survived by his son Randy Green and wife Linda, of Burleson, Tx & sister Patsy Borden of Durango Colorado, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.
In his free time, Leasel enjoyed gardening, he loved being able to give away what he grew to families that lived on his street providing such fond memories of the joy he gave them. Leasel will leave many loving & priceless memories, with many stories of laughter that will live on forever in our hearts.
