On August 16,2025 June Evelyn Boelter was ushered into the arms of her precious savior Jesus Christ. Born on January 20,1932, June lived to be "93 and a half years old " - longer than anyone else in her family!
June was born in Merced, California to Robert and Janice Fisher. She was the third child in a family of six children and had the distinction of being the first girl. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Irving, Texas where June was raised on her grandparents farm. June was blessed to learn a good work ethic from her mother and to enjoy the attention of her father. Her grandmother doted on her and instilled a love for gardening, birds, and crossword puzzles.
In 1949 June both graduated from Irving High School and got married. Her union with Edgar Pitchford was blessed with three daughters: Belinda, Beverly, and Barbara whom they raised in Hurst,Texas.
In January of 1980 June and Edgar ended their marriage and June met the man who would later become her second husband,Gerald (Jerry) Boelter. June and Jerry married in December of 1994 and settled in Burleson,Texas. They eventually moved to Joshua and enjoyed over 30 years of marriage.
June and Jerry attended Bethesda Baptist Church in Burleson where June sang in the choir and attended the Sunshine Sunday School class.
June and Jerry shared a love of golfing and traveling. They also enjoyed visiting numerous courthouses across the country finding their unique architecture fascinating.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Boelter and her daughter Belinda Pitchford.
June is survived by
Two sisters: Lorna Quinn of Irving,Texas, and Susan Keigley of Watts,Oklahoma
Two daughters: Beverly Lawrence of Inman,South Carolina, and Barbara and Steve Caldwell of Saginaw, Texas
Three step-daughters: Susan and Tim Nation of Canyon, Texas, Judi and Ken Wooten of Killeen,Texas, and Phyllis Boelter of San Antonio, Texas.
June will always be remembered for her quick witty comments and artistic talents.
