Jones Rex A.

Rex A. Jones, 76, of Bowie, a retired insurance salesman, passed away Sun. January 1, 2012 in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. Rex was born Aug. 18, 1935 in Electra to Albert Bryan and Myrtle Mae Dunagan Jones. He was a loving father and friend. Rex graduated from Electra High School in 1953 and Howard Payne University in 1962 with a Bachelor Degree. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Rex loved music, playing the piano and keyboard which he started when he was 9 years old. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and going fishing. Rex also served as a church pastor from 1960-1962. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Bryna Price. Survivors: Son, David Jones of Joshua; sister, Winell Ewing of Irving; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
