Jonathan Douglas Bagley

Jonathan Douglas Bagley, known to his family as "Johnny" and to his colleagues as "John," passed away on September 8, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a resident of Crowley, Texas.

Born on January 1, 1952, in Fort Worth, John lived a full life dedicated to his family, his work, and his country. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from February 1972 to December 1974 as an Aircraft Control and Warning Radar Repairman, achieving the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged. Following his military service, he began a long and distinguished career at Bell Helicopter, where he would have celebrated 39 years of service at the end of this month. Known at work as the "go-to" guy, John was always ready to offer advice and assistance to anyone in need.

At home, Johnny found his greatest happiness in the simple joys of life-spending time with his dogs and, above all, being with his grandchildren. Nothing brought a bigger grin to his face or more laughter to his heart than moments shared with them.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, his "Darlin", Connie Bagley; his children, Valerie Scott and husband Jason of Burleson, Andrea Daniel of Carrollton, Christy Barton and Jeffrey Bagley, both of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Krystin, Shaine, Lexi, Allison, Rory, and Raiden; his brother, Jim Bagley and wife Rita of Grandview; his sister-in-law, Naomi Bagley; and his niece and nephews, Michael, Terri, and Jason.

He was preceded in death by his father, Murray Leon Bagley; his stepfather, Paul Goins; his mother, Elda Vernelle Goins; his brother, Monty Bagley; and his son, Christopher Bagley.

Services:
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow on Friday, September 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua, Texas.
