Jim Gilmore passed peacefully into eternal life on August 5, 2026 at the age of 85 years.
He was born in Fort Worth on November 19, 1940.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Flora Gilmore, and by his brother Don Gilmore and his wife Lori, and by a sister who died in childhood.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Gilmore; by his three sons: Jimmy Gilmore and his wife Laura, Randy Gilmore and his wife Kati, and David Gilmore.
By his grandchildren: Matt, Michael, Lesley, and RJ. And by his great grandchildren: Trae, Kloey, Jessica, Hunter, and Mila.
Jim served in the US Navy and spent his career working with electronics. He loved gardening,
RV camping, fishing, cooking and classic old westerns. Jim had a servant heart. and spent 20 years as a volunteer at Huguley Hospital, and he was a devoted member of the Burleson Church of Christ.
