Jerry Lee Downs

Jerry Lee Downs, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on July 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was born on November 21, 1941, in Missouri to George Downs and Christine Menees Downs. He lived a life defined by faith, hard work, honesty, and devotion to his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Downs; his mother, Christine Menees;
and his two sisters, Patricia Bryant and Mary Bartle.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Brenda Downs. He was a proud and loving father to Tim Downs and his wife, Donna, and Jeff Downs and his wife, Heather. He was a devoted grandfather to Brady Downs and his wife, Rachel, Kelsie Downs, Eli Downs, and Sadie Downs. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
In 1984, Jerry founded American Home Heating and Air Conditioning, a business he proudly owned and operated for more than four decades. He earned the trust and respect of countless customers by serving them with honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others.
Jerry's greatest joys in life were his faith, his church, and his family. He loved each of them deeply and lived as an example of kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, the values he instilled, and the love he shared.
Jerry will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
