Gary Moore

Gary D. Moore was born in Red Oak, Iowa, on May 8, 1960, to Ed and Roberta Askey Moore. He passed away peacefully Tuesday morning December 3, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Gary grew up in Iowa with his parents and sisters, Barb Getting and Kris Betts. Gary is survived by his wife Lisa Moloney Moore, his two sisters and their spouses Barb and Ray Getting, Kris and Mike Betts; and his two sons, Colby and Danny Moore, and Danny's two 5 year old twin granddaughters, Ida and Nora Moore.

After a 26 year career in the United States Air Force, Gary retired as a Master Sergeant on August 31, 2007. After his time in the service, he graduated from The University of North Dakota with a Social Work degree and participated in Veteran Outreach programs to assist veterans in civilian life.

Gary loved Texas. He enjoyed sunsets, day trips and Taco Tuesdays (several times a week). He will be missed greatly and live on in our hearts forever. Gary will be laid to rest at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery.
