Frances Denson

Frances V. Denson, 83, a retired nurse's aide, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Monday in Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Frances Valentine Denson was born Feb. 14, 1922, in Greensboro, N.C., to Earl H. and Mae Brooks Lanning. She married Ralph J. Denson on Dec. 22, 1941, in Gastonia, S.C. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 2000. She was a Baptist. Survivors: Sons, Tim Denson and wife, B.J., of Joshua, Gary Denson and wife, Joyce, of Weatherford and Randy Denson of Joshua; daughter, Susan Foster of Irving; brother, Earl H. Lanning II of Greensboro, N.C.; sister, Inez Jones of Greensboro, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
