JOSHUA -- Floyd B. Applegate ,81, of Joshua passed away Monday July 17, 2006 at his residence. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Thursday July 20, 2006 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Covington Cemetery. Floyd was born November 7, 1924 in Hill County, Texas to Arch and Bertie Hendrix Applegate. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Floyd also loved training dogs especially border collies and horses. Survivors: Wife, Billie Applegate of Joshua; son, Lonnie Edward Applegate and wife Sheila of Joshua; grandsons, Lonnie Edward Applegate Jr. and wife Kristi of Joshua.
