Dorothy Louise Webb

Dorothy Louise Webb, lovingly known as Mom and Mamaw, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, at the age of 84.

Dorothy was born on November 26, 1941, in Hiawassee, Georgia. She later moved to Texas where her husband, Doug, relocated for work.

Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother who lovingly raised four children. Her greatest joy was her family, and she took immense pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She spent her working years as a drugstore cashier, where she was known for her dedication and kindness.

As a child she put her faith in Jesus. That faith stayed with her throughout her life. Today she is at home with her heavenly father.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Douglas Webb; her mother, Marjorie Strickland; her grandmother, Mary Shook; her grandfather, Mack Shook; and her brother, Daniel Strickland.

She is survived by her children: Darlene and Ronnie Parker, DeAnne Horton, Douglas Ben and Carolyn Webb, and Vickie and Larry Williams. Grandchildren: Douglas Wayne and Yolanda Huckaby, Justin Huckaby, David Brady, Lara and John Lechlitner, Kevin Huckaby, and Dorothy Elizabeth and David Torres. Great-grandchildren: Ezra Huckaby, Lily Lechlitner, Alyssa Huckaby, and Abigail Lechlitner. Siblings and close family: Nell McDonald, Martha Ledford, Mary Ann Gearing, Helen White, Frank Jr. Strickland, David Strickland, Johnny Strickland, and her cousin, Frankie Mae Webb.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Caddo Cemetery, located at 6700 FM 1902, Joshua, Texas 76058.
