Dennis James Mason

In the early morning hours of August 23, 2013, Dennis left this earth after a long hard fought battle with COPD. Memorial Service: 10:00 AM, Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. As a lifelong truck driver, Dennis fulfilled his dreams of becoming an owner operator in the late 90's leasing his truck to FW Freight Service in Burleson, Texas. Dennis was a great man sacrificing many things not only for his family, and friends, but he would help a stranger if he thought they needed it. He is survived by his wife, Tena; children: Deron, Lonna, Dawn, Trisha, Dennis Jr., and Nicole; grandchildren: Madalyn, Abygayle, Zachary, Heath, Jay, Brooklyn, Olivia, Lexie, Kyla, Khloe, Kambree, Justin, Colton, Jarrett, Gage, and Kaela; siblings: Lillian, Carolyn, Rhonda, Donna, Daniel, And Dale, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William and brother David. Dennis would always say, " Keep on Trucking, the load can't be late."
