Deborah Jean Fulgium-Hernandez

Deborah Jean Fulgium-Hernandez, age 69, passed away on April 19, 2026. She was born on July 15, 1956, in Bossier City, Louisiana, to Billy Wayne Fulgium and Betty Marie Fulgium.

Deborah was a loving mother to Kenneth Echavarria, Jason Echavarria, and Chaylene Lerma. She was also a cherished sister to Rebecca Blocker and Micheal Fulgium.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Carlos Echavarria, Alicia Kimball, Louis Lerma, Christopher Lerma, Elexsis Lerma, Ileana Echavarria, Jason Jr. Echavarria, and Jordan Echavarria.

Deborah loved Jesus deeply and was passionate about sharing her faith with others. She found joy in music and especially loved playing the piano. Her greatest love was her children and family. She was known for her talkative spirit, joyful laughter, and the way she loved telling stories about her faith and her parents. She also dearly loved her dog, Sammy.

Deborah will be remembered for her warmth, her strong faith, her joyful personality, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at True Life Church, 301 S Main St, Joshua, TX 76058.
