Connie Bernal

Consuelo (Connie) Bernal was born in Weslaco, Texas on February 5, 1949, and passed away on 4/21/2021 in Burleson, Texas.

She is survived by her son, Jason Bernal; a granddaughter Olivia and 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She retired in 2011, although she continued to work on a part time basis for BISD.

Connie loved family gatherings, cooking, and dancing. As second to the oldest in the family, she had no problem taking over the "parent" role and disciplining her younger siblings when needed. Discipline was always done with love, and she always provided the reason for the discipline.

She will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts until our Lord calls us home, and we are all together again.
