Cole Wayne Holton, 55, of Godley, Texas passed away Thursday, June 4th, 2026. Cole was born February 16, 1971 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Dale Holton and Ann Williams. After a few years in Virginia, he spent the remainder of his life in Texas surrounded by his loving family. He was a devout Christian, proud father, husband, son, and brother. During his childhood, Cole enjoyed fishing, riding bikes, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1989.
On February 14, 2001, he married his loving wife, Jessica, celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this year. They raised their four children together; Nicholas, Katelyn, Ryan, and Emily.
Cole worked in IT for many years, an interest he and his brother shared. Following this, he spent most of his career working as a stagehand, something he took immense pride in, enjoyed deeply, and worked incredibly hard at. Through this, he met many life long friends who he looked forward to speaking with often.
In Cole's free time, he enjoyed tackling home improvements projects, fishing, bowling, and drag racing.
Cole will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
Survived by his wife, Jessica Holton; four children, Nicholas Pond, Katelyn (Harold) Carr, Ryan Holton, Emily Holton; Parents, Dale (Brenda) Holton, Ann Williams; Mother in-law, Cher Switzer; Siblings, Matthew (Andrea) Holton, Jennifer (Joe) Watson; Aunt, Betty Mcllheran; sister in-law, Justine (Jennifer) Pond, brother in-laws, Roy (Jennifer) Pond, Jason Rafferty; nieces and nephews, Brittney, Bryce, Daniel, Victoria, Angelina; and numerous loving friends.
Proceeded in death by step father; David Williams, step mother; Judi Holton, father in-law Curt Switzer.
The family will receive visitors Thursday,
