Coach Gayle Pruett Jr.

Coach Gayle Pruett, Jr., 70, passed away April 23, 2013, in a Fort Worth hospital. Memorial services: 5:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Alvarado High School Cafeteria. Coach was born September 6, 1942 in Houston to Gayle Moreland and Gladys Schofield Pruett. He was a Coach and math teacher for over 45 years. Coach was still active as a track coach for Alvarado ISD. Survivors: sister, Lana Sperring and husband Rob of Cypress; 2 nephews, Jayme Sperring and wife Jennifer, Trey Sperring and wife Taylor; great niece, Brooklyn Sperring, all of Cypress; cousins and extended family in Jonesboro and other parts of Texas.
