BURLESON -- Charles Verlin Franklin, Sr, of Burleson, passed away Tuesday July 26, 2016. Funeral Service: 10AM Friday, July 29, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8PM Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Charles was born January 25, 1939 in Binger, OK to William and Minnie (Ridge) Franklin. He was preceded in death by his parents. Charles was a very generous and compassionate person. His family and his work were most important to him. He loved his garden, especially his tomatoes. Survivors: wife, Karyn Franklin; sons, Charles Franklin, Jr, Robert Franklin and wife, Michelle; daughters, Debbie Holderby, Kathy Hanson and husband Weldon; grandchildren, Kolton, Cooper, Daedon, Zane, Brody, Avery, Sealy, Corbin, Morgan, Alex, Peyton, and Dale; great-granddaughter, Mattie; sisters, Virginia, Janice; and many other loving extended family and friends.
