Carol Ann Purser Richter Luebbehusen
June 1, 1956 - August 7, 2025

Carol Ann Purser Richter Luebbehusen, 69, of Joshua, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born on June 1, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas, Carol was a proud 1974 graduate of O.D. Wyatt High School. She went on to build a lifelong career in the insurance industry, dedicating 47 years to a profession where her work ethic & warmth touched many lives.

Carol was the heart of her family - a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and proud "LueLue." She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill; her children: Tyler and his wife Amanda of Cleburne, Preston of Chicago, and Elizabeth and her husband Jason of Hobson; and her treasured grandson, Jase, who brought her endless joy.

She is also survived by her sister Debbie, nephew Brandon, and nieces Ashley and Paige, as well as a wide circle of extended family who were so important to her and whom she loved dearly.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Bonnie Purser; her sister, Sandy Harper; her brother-in-law, Kim Morse; and she was predeceased by her first husband, Cary Richter.

Carol found great joy in traveling and was always planning her next adventure. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, and her beloved BIG Group.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Pegasus Landing of Chisholm Trail as well as Grand Hospice for their love, support, and exceptional care for Carol during her time there.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to Pegasus Landing of Chisholm Trail or the Alzheimer's Association.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, love, and the joy she brought to those around her.
