Bobby Lee Price

Bobby Lee Price was born July 8, 1947 in Sayre Oklahoma to Jack and Faye (Sipes) Price. He passed away at his home Monday morning April 20, 2026 following a long illness.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and many aunts and uncles and also his cherished cousin Louise Farrel, Arlington Tx. Louise was very close with him especially while growing up next door to each other and after Bobby moved to Arlington.

He had been a long-time member of First Christian Church in Sayre along with his parents.

He loved his Uncle Robert Minton (Bob) who served as Beckham County judge for many years. He was also so proud of his dad Jack Price for owning Jack's Barbershop downtown Sayre. That was the place to go at one time.

His only surviving relatives are his twin cousins Darla Farrel from Fort Worth Texas, and Donna Farrel Turner from Burleson Texas.

Bobby graduated from Sayre High School 1965.

He then went on to get his BS in Biology from SouthWestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1969.

He joined the Army reserve and was unit administrator for the army from 1975 through 1986 and was center in support of training requirements for the army reserve units stationed in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

During that time, he got his BS in pharmacy, also from SouthWestern Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1989.

Starting in 1989 Bobby then proceeded to work as a staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager at many locations for many years until he retired. He loved being a Pharmacist and was very good at it. Always so s mart.

Those that knew him well were Blessed with the many fun memories of long-ago sharing tales and stories about our relatives and people we shared our love for. Cousins Darla and Donna loved sharing those times with him. Donna was able to help him some during his times of illness. He had a great memory!

Bobby had great neighbors and especially his next-door neighbors Larry and Margaret Childs. They visited and checked on him often and they became good friends while helping care for him some as well.

Bobby Lee, you will be deeply missed!
