Billie Cornelison

BURLESON - Billie Cornelison, 78 of Burleson, passed away Monday, July 30,2012 in Burleson. Billie was born on October 26, 1933 in Normangee to William and Ovie Spikes Carter. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Billie was a journalist and newspaper publisher with her first husband, Bill Perkins, who preceded her in death in 1969 after moving to Burleson. Her husband of 40 years, Doyle Cornelison, preceded her in death in July 2011. Billie is survived by her beloved son, Mark Perkins of Burleson and adored grandsons, Cody Perkins and wife Bethany of Springtown, and Lance Perkins of Midland, brother, Joe Reed Carter of Normangee and step-sons, Doyle Wesley Cornelison, Gary Cornelison, David Cornelison, and Kenneth Cornelison. Services will be at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua at 10 AM, Friday. Visitation 6-8 PM on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
