Betty was born on November 1, 1941 to Louie and Mary Seeton in Fort Worth, Texas. She spent her formative years in Midlothian and graduated from Midlothian High School in 1960.

On August 27, 1960, Betty married the love of her life, Wayne West. Together they began their life in Corsicana before later moving to Mineral Wells that same year. There, Betty became active in the Garden Club and Zonta while also faithfully serving in her church by teaching children's choir and Sunday School.

In 1988, Betty and Wayne made their home in Burleson, where together they established Best Value West Pharmacy in 1992. Through the pharmacy, Betty and Wayne served their community with dedication, kindness, and compassion for many years. Betty devoted her life to her family as a homemaker and loving mother to four daughters. She created a home filled with warmth, comfort, and care, always making sure her family was loved and supported. Betty's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was their biggest cheerleader, faithfully attending and encouraging the many school activities, performances, and sports teams they were involved in. Betty's vibrancy and love of life was reflected in her membership with the Red Hat Society which she participated in with many of her friends.

Betty loved the Lord deeply and gave her life to Jesus at an early age. Her faith guided every part of her life and was evident in the way she loved and served others. Throughout the years, she faithfully sang in church choirs in

Corsicana, Mineral Wells, and Burleson. Most recently, Betty served alongside Wayne at First Baptist Church Burleson, supporting him in his

role as a longstanding Sunday School teacher, as well as serving on the Hospitality Team.

Betty will be remembered for her steadfast faith, servant's heart, and deep love for her family and community. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to Christ.
