Barbara June Wimm

Barbara J. Wimm, 87, of Joshua, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2026.

Mrs. Wimm was a missionary with World Baptist Fellowship since 1969. Barbara and her husband Ralph were missionaries to the Tarahumara Indians and Mayo Indians of Mexico. Barbara retired and lived in Joshua where family has owned land since 1969. She was a member of Worth Baptist Church in Ft. Worth.

She was born in Germantown, Kentucky and lived many years in Dayton, Ohio, before moving to Arlington, Texas to attend Bible Baptist Seminary. She graduated from there in 1969.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wimm; daughter-in-law, Sabrina Wimm; and grandson Arron Speer.

She is survived by one son, Randy Wimm of Austin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Wimm Harwart (John) and Melinda Wimm Wolff Foster (Lonnie) of Joshua; five grandchildren, Dustin Harwart of Burleson; Westley Harwart of Burleson; Veronica Wimm (Mak) of Austin; Zane Wimm (Leandrea) of Austin and Noah Wolff of Joshua. She had four great grandchildren - Daniel, Joshua, Sabrina and Ayden of Austin.
